Union Minister Anurag Thakur Facilitates Sports Persons In Delhi

Latest reports have been coming in from the national capital of the country New Delhi where Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur has interacted with medal winners of the World U20 Athletics Championships, held in Nairobi, Kenya.

According to reports the Union Minister Anurag Thakur has said that our athletes has performed well in the World U20 Athletics Championships. 

Amit Khatri and Shaili Singh have bagged silver medals. Shaili missed the gold medal by a mere margin of 1 cm. 

It shows that India can do well in athletics according to Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur. 

The Minister further added that, I have interacted with them and discussed about the facilities at grassroots level, what's their demand and how we can improve. 

I'm happy that federation and GoI's assistance has helped them. We want them to do well in the Asian Games, Commonwealth Games and Olympics as per Union Sports Minister.
