According to sources one body was brought to the hospital, 16 others hospitalised. 2 of them being referred to other hospitals after x-ray that established fracture as per Block Medical Officer James Minj.
According to reports both accused of the incident where a speeding car mowed down people in Pathalgaon, Jashpur arrested.
Both the accused Bablu Vishwakarma and Shishupal Sahu are residents of MP and passing through Chhattisgarh.
Jashpur SP office has confirmed action is being taken against them.
CM Baghel of Chattisgarh has said that Jashpur incident is very sad and heart-wrenching. The accused have been immediately arrested.
Action has also been taken against the Police officers who seemed to be guilty prima facie. Probe has been ordered, nobody will be spared. Justice will be given to all tweets CM Baghel.
According to reports SHO Pathalgaon has been line attached and ASI has also been suspended. FIR will be registered u/s 302 & 304 according to SP Jashpur.
Financial assistance of Rs 50 lakhs will be provided to the family members of the deceased in the Jashpur incident according to Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel
