Union Minister Amit Shah Inaugurates Various Projects In Andaman And Nicobar Islands

Latest reports have been coming in from Andaman and Nicobar islands where Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurates and lays the foundation stone of various development projects.

According to the sources these development projects will be part of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. 

The inauguration and foundation stone has been casted from the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in Andaman and Nicobar Island.

On this occasion  Lt. Governor Admiral D K Joshi (Retd.) of Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar islands is also present.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
