Major Accident In Jammu And Kashmir Leaves 8 Dead

Latest reports have been coming in from Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh who have stated that 8 people have lost their lives in a road accident near Thatri in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir.

He has further added that he had spoken to D.C.Doda Vikas Sharma, the injured being shifted to GMC Doda and have assuredWhatever further assistance required will be provided, he adds.

An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of those who have lost their lives, the injured would be given Rs. 50,000, PM says.

According to reports Jammu and Kashmir Govt is to ensure treatment of injured in Doda road mishap. Rs 2 lakhs to be given to families of deceased from LG’s Discretionary Fund and Rs 1 lakh from Road Victims' Fund as immediate relief.
