Foreign Secretary HV Shringla To Visit Bangladesh On December 07 To December 08

Latest reports have been coming in from the national capital of the country New Delhi where the Ministry of External Affairs have reported that Foreign Secretary HV Shringla will be visiting Bangladesh from December 7 to December 8.

According to the reports coming in Foreign Secretary HV Shringla is visiting Bangladesh from Dec 7-8. 

As per sources the Foreign Secretary HV Shringla will meet Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Ambassador Masud Bin Momen and call on Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen. 

According to reports from the Ministry of External Affairs, the Foreign Secretary is scheduled to call on PM Sheikh Hasina. He will also call on Bangladesh Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader.

India's Foreign Secretary HV Shringla full agenda of this visit will be shared by the Ministry of External Affairs later today.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
