Latest reports have been coming in from Prime Minister Narendra Modi office which has share that today at 1 p.m. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Uttar Pradesh.

According to reports coming in Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Uttar Pradesh at 1 p.m. today to inaugurate Saryu Nahar National project.

According to reports coming in this project has started in 1978 but due to lack of coordination between various departmental officers and budgetary funds and various other issues this project got delayed for nearly 40 years and now it has been completed.

As per sources this project in the year 2016 was brought under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana and was made to complete within a stipulated time.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
