Uttarakhand Suspends Official For Sending Letter Demanding Release Of 4 Trucks Of Soapstone

Latest reports having coming from Uttarakhand where Uttarakhand Chief Minister office has reported that a letter has been sent by a CMO's official which has gone viral on social media.

In this letter the official had written to Bageshwar SP asking him to release the four trucks filled with soapstone. 

The officer has been dismissed and orders have been given to probe the matter according to Uttarakhand CMO.

According to reports coming in Police had seized those trucks reportedly filled with soapstone (a talc-schist, which is a type of metamorphic rock).

The police has suspected the material to be extracted from illegal mining as per reports.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given strict instructions to all his employees that he expects zero-tolerance regarding illegal mining and strict action will be taken on receiving any such complaint according to Uttarakhand CMO.
