The Only Recovery From Covid Is By Vaccines: India's Permanent Representative to UN TS Tirumurti

Latest report have been coming in from United Nations where Indian permanent representative to United Nations TS Tirumurti has said that if we need to have any sustainable recovery from the pandemic, it should start with vaccines.

According to reports India's Permanent Rep to UN TS Tirumurti was speaking at joint PBC-ECOSOC meeting on promoting durable peace and sustainable development in the context of recovery from COVID-19 pandemic.

India's Permanent Representative to UN TS Tirumurti in the statement has said that following the emergence of the Omicron variant, India had immediately offered support to the affected countries in Africa.

This support includes by supplying made-in-India vaccines, essential life-saving drugs and medical equipment according to India's Permanent Representative to UN TS Tirumurti.

According to Indian representative TS Tirumurti to ramp the production capacity of vaccines, it is essential that the global supply chains of raw materials be kept open. 

India's Permanent Representative to UN TS Tirumurti also added human-centric and citizen-friendly digital tech need to be promoted, with a special focus on women and youth.
