Controlled Burning Of Forest By Forest Department Done In Assam

Latest reports have been coming in from Assam where in Kaziranga National park to prevent unwanted grass and to stop expanding of forest, forest department is carrying out controlled burning of forest.

According to reports coming in from Kaziranga National Park where NFO carries out controlled burning of forest "to prevent unwanted grass from expanding further".

According to Bhaskar Deka, DFO while speaking to ANI has said that NagaonIt's habitat management practice being done in Kaziranga and other national parks. 

He has further stated that it's done from Feb 2nd week- March 1st week every year.
