Ex Gratia Payment Of CRPF Has Been Increased

Latest reports have been coming in from CRPF where DG CRPF Kuldiep Singh has said that under financial assistance from risk fund, ex gratia for personnel martyred in action has been increased.

According to reports DG CRPF Kuldiep Singh it has been increased to Rs 30 lakhs from Rs 20 lakhs and for all other cases.

The ex gratia has been increased to Rs 20 lakhs from Rs 15 lakhs according to DG CRPF Kuldiep Singh.

He has further stated that it is not as if the situation is out of hand. After the abrogation of Article 370, the incidents of stone-pelting are almost nill. 

There is a decrease in the infiltration of foreign terrorists and attacks according to DG CRPF Kuldiep Singh on the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
