According to reports coming in from Chhattisgarh where at least 5 people are dead and 17 others are injured in a collision between a truck and tractor.
The incident is reported to happened at the national highway going towards Mainpur, a few km away from Gariyaband.

According to the sources from the Gariyaband accident where Chief Minister of the Chhattisgarh ex-gratia payment of Rs 2 lakhs for the deceased's family and Rs 50,000 for the injured has been announced.
As per reports Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel has said that district administration has been instructed to look after the injured's treatment.
