Situation In Russian Ukraine Worsens, Russia President In Talks With President Of European Council

Latest reports have been coming in from Russia where Russian President Vladimir Putin had a talk with the President of European council and discussed with him ongoing talks with Ukraine.

According to the reports Russian President Vladimir Putin in a call with President of European Council Charles Michel discussed ongoing talks with Ukraine.

According to the reports the Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on an agreement that would take into account Russia’s earlier demands.Putin stressed that Kyiv not showing a serious commitment to consensual solutions.

In another major development Canada imposes "severe" sanctions on 15 more Russian officials.

These Officials includes government and military elites who are complicit in this illegal war.

According to the sources these sanctions brings the total number of individuals and entities sanctioned by Canada to nearly 500 now as per Canada PM Justin Trudeau announces in a tweet.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
