Terrorists Involved In The Murder Of TV Artist Amreen Bhatt Neutralized In Jammu And Kashmir

Latest reports have been coming in from Jammu and Kashmir where two terrorist over involved in the Killing of TV artist Amreen Bhatt have been neutralized.

According to reports coming in these two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists were involved in the killing of TV artist Amreen Bhat.  

They have been neutralized in a late-night encounter in Awantipora, the Jammu and Kashmir police said.

These two LeT terrorists in the Soura area of Srinagar encounter have been identified as Shakir Ahmed Waza and Afreen Aftab Malik. 

According to the reports incriminating materials, including arms and ammunition, have been recovered.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
