According to the reports coming and this lapse is related to Indian Para Swimmer S Aalam who in an interview with ANI has said that the Air India has been irresponsible with the comfort of the physically challenged people.
According to Indian Para Swimmer S Aalam Air India provided me a cabin wheelchair and later shifted to another wheelchair which was uncomfortable.
As per sources Indian Para Swimmer S Aalam told the crew that he need his own wheelchair as he is comfortable on that.
And the Air India staff on Indian Para Swimmer S Aalam pleas said that he'll get it at the belt. And the Indian Para Swimmer S Aalam waited there for over an hour.
According to the reports Air India responded to Indian para swimmer Mohammad Shams Aalam Shaikh has said that Mohammad Shams Aalam Shaikh claimed to have waited for 90 minutes at the Delhi airport to get a wheelchair.
The Air India staff speaking on this said that it was delayed due to airport security reasons. We hope you will give us another chance to set things right.
