Latest reports have been coming in from Jharkhand where today former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD Leader Lalu Prasad Yadav will be appearing before the special Court.

According to the reports coming in from Jharkhand where former Bihar CM and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav to appear before the special MP, MLA court in Palamu.

According to the reports this appearance before the court of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav will be in connection with a model code of conduct violation case of 2009.

However according to the sources security has been tightened outside the special court.  And all the efforts are being done for smooth functioning of the judiciary today.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
