Defence Minister Rajnath Singh On Three Day Visit To Vietnam

Latest reports have been coming in from Ministry of Defence which has shared that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be hono3 day visit to Vietnam from 8th of June.

According to the sources to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be on a three-day visit to Vietnam from 8th June.

This visit of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be for holding bilateral talks with his Vietnamese counterpart Phan Van Giang to further strengthen defence cooperation.

According to the reports coming in twelve High-Speed Guard Boats will be constructed under India’s USD 100 million Defence Line of Credit.

According to the sources it will be  handed over to Vietnam, during Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's visit.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
