Major Fire Reported In Gaziabad, Uttar Pradesh Near Shaheed Metro Station

Latest reports have been coming in from Uttar Pradesh where a fire has broken out near Shaheed Metro Station Ghaziabad.

According to the reports coming from Uttar Pradesh where a major fire breaks out in a godown near Shaheed Nagar metro station in Ghaziabad.

According to the reports coming in from ANI which has shared that more than 12 fire tenders are engaged in dousing operation. 

However, till now no casualties have been reported. And the fire has been brought under control according to the statement given by Sunil Kumar Singh, CFO while he was speaking to ANI.

The police and the city administration has started investigation as to the reasons behind the reasons as to the onset of the fire.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
