Mumbai police have opened a case against a 75-year-old businessman in connection with the rape of a 35-year-old woman in the Juhu area of Mumbai.
"A 75-year-old businessman raped a 35-year-old writer at a five-star hotel in the Juhu area of Mumbai.
According to police, the accused threatened to rape underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and threatened to kill him if he complained to police.
A victim woman lodged a complaint with a businessman at the Amboli police station in Mumbai.
Another shocking fact is that the woman received a call from the “D” gang threatening to stop her from registering with the businessman.
The alleged businessman had borrowed ₹ 2 crore from the victim and did not repay it. Also, when the victim woman tried to raise her voice against the atrocities committed against her, the alleged businessman and people related to Dawood Ibrahim threatened her directly that if she said anything to anyone about this, they would kill her.
Investigations into the case have now been handed over to the Amboli police station and to the MIDC police. MIDC police are investigating the woman's case.
