Joe Biden Appoints American-American Security Specialist Top Pentagon Post!


U.S. President Joe Biden has appointed security expert Radha Iyengar Plumb to the post of Deputy Secretary of Defense for Recovery and Stabilization, and the recent Indian-American appointment to a key position.
Currently acting as the Chief of Staff at the Deputy Secretary of Defense, Ms. Plumb was elected to the top of the Pentagon on Wednesday.

Prior to her appointment as Head of Staff, Ms. Plumb was the Director of Research and Security Information at Google, leading their various business analytics, data science and technology research teams.

He has also served as the Global Head of Policy Analysis on Facebook, where he has focused on extremely high-risk / high-risk security and important global security issues.

Ms. Plumb was also a senior economist at RAND Corporation where she focused on improving quality measurement and testing and safety efforts across the Department of Defense.

He has also held a number of senior staff positions on national security issues in the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, and the White House National Security Council.

Early in his career, Plumb was an assistant professor at the London School of Economics and did his post-doctoral work at Harvard. He received a Ph.D. and MS in Economics from Princeton University and holds a BS degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

In his Linkedin profile, he describes himself as an experienced leader with in-depth technical analysis skills and proven track record of working in government, academia and industry. Skilled in policy research, economics, trust and security issues, and project management.

U.S. President Biden will appoint India-American ambassador Gautam Rana as the new US ambassador to Slovakia, the White House said in a statement last month.

Biden appointed Indian ambassador Rachna Sachdeva Korhonen as his ambassador to Mali in April, the third such Indian-American appointment in more than a month.

In March, President Biden appointed two American Indians as U.S. ambassadors. He has appointed politician Puneet Talwar as the country's ambassador to Morocco and political activist Shefali Razdan Duggal as his ambassador to the Netherlands.
