PM Modi Attends Launch Of Global Initiative 'LiFE MOVEMENT' Through Video Conferencing

Latest reports have been coming in from the national capital of the country New Delhi where Prime Minister Narendra Modi has  attended the launch of the global initiative 'LiFE MOVEMENT' through video conferencing. 

Microsoft's co-founder Bill Gates takes part in the launch of the global initiative 'LiFE MOVEMENT' on World Environment Day through video conferencing

Speaking on this occasion Bill Gates has said congratulated PM Modi for taking lead on this global initiative. 

Bill Gates has further added that India's leadership is crucial in achieving our global climate targets.

To eliminate greenhouse gases we need technology and cooperation of all including partnerships of public and private sectors according to Bill Gates.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
