4 Arrested for Holding Rh 56,000 With Gun From a Delhi Finance Company


Four men have been arrested for allegedly embezzling $ 56,000 from a non-bank financial institution east of Delhi in the Preet Vihar area, police said on Friday.
The suspects identified as Amir, Talib and Tripesh Kumar Parvesh, all residents of Uttar Pradesh, as well as Sirajuddin alias Siraj, a resident of Kureji Khas in Delhi, said.

On Tuesday, a case was registered at the Preet Vihar police station following a complaint that four criminals broke into the Vikas Marg finance office at 10.30am and stole R56,000 at gunpoint, a police official said.

The suspects also tried to rob the gold objects lying in the stronghold as they snatched the vault keys from the workers, but the branch manager pressed the security remote, which was kept in his pocket. The security guard's alarm went off and the suspect fled the scene, police said.

On Thursday, police received a tip-off that two criminals, Amir and Talib, who were involved in the robbery, would be approaching AIIMS via Barrpulla to commit crimes. A trap was set on the Barrapullah loop near AIIMS and at 7.40pm, two suspects were arrested, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rajesh Deo.

They revealed that the mastermind of the robbery was Sirajuddin, who had organized and provided weapons and ammunition. They also said another Parvesh was also involved in the robbery, the DCP said.

Later, Sirajuddin and Tripesh Kumar, also known as Parvesh, were arrested and arrested on Friday, Mr Deo said.

Three recovered firearms and eight cartridges, two stolen motorcycles, two stolen cellphones and one toy were recovered, police said.

Aamir was a driver and Talib was a construction worker, police said.
