Udaipur's Kanhaiya Lal Comfort Note, Sidhu Moose Rejects BJP Meet

Udaipur tailor Kanhaiya Lal and Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, who were recently killed, were quoted as saying in a message conveyed to them at a BJP national conference on Saturday, sources said.
The message of condolence also conveyed a number of dignitaries and BJP leaders and military personnel who died during the landslide in Manipur.

The consolation decision was read by BJP General Secretary Dilip Saikia.

Earlier this week, Kanhaiya Lal was hacked by two men who posted videos online claiming they were retaliating against Islam.

In the days leading up to his assassination, a Udaipur tailor in Rajasthan told local police that he had received threats about a social media post shared on his account, apparently "supporting" the words of suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma through Prophet Mohammad.

Shhubdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moosewala, was shot dead in the Punjab district in Mansa on May 29, a day after the Punjab government imposed a temporary security cover for the artist and 423 people.
