Madhya Pradesh: Amit Shah Performs Bhoomi-Pujan Of New Air Terminal In Gwalior

Gwalior: Union Home Minister Amit Shah laid the foundation stone for the new terminal of Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Airport Gwalior and the expansion work of the airport. The new terminal of the airport is to be constructed at a cost of around Rs 500 crore. 

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Civil Aviation and Steel Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia were present.

Shah also reviewed the construction model of the new terminal. Information about the state-of-the-art new terminal was displayed through a model.

Products of Gwalior-Chambal will reach all over the world: Amit Shah has said that with the construction of modern airport in Gwalior, while air services will be expanded, with the construction of cargo terminal, import and export of the products of small, micro and medium industries of Gwalior and Chambal regions will be facilitated all over the world. This will create new employment opportunities and boost economic activities.
