Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had arrived in Saifai to pay his tribute. More than one lakh people have reached Saifai for the last glimpse of their Netaji.
Flowers brought from Kannauj for tribute: Chief Ministers and former Chief Ministers of many states arrived in the funeral with state honors. Defense Minister Rajnath also paid tribute.
Amitabh Bachchan, his wife Jaya Bachchan and son Abhishek also had last darshan of Mulayam and paid him their homage.
Rajnath-Ramdev and Chief Ministers of 3 states arrived for the last darshan: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, UP Deputy CM Keshav Maurya, Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Congress leader Kamal Nath are present. Among those who paid tribute were former Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, BJP MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi and Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev.
Apart from them, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, his daughter Supriya Sule, BJP MP Varun Gandhi, RLD President Jayant Chaudhary, Sahara Chief Subrata Roy Sahara, Swami Prasad Maurya and Abhishek Bachchan are also present at the funeral.
Last rites of Netaji will be done with sandalwood: The last rites of mortal remains of Mulayam Singh Yadav will be done with sandalwood sticks. Tribute will be paid to him with flowers of Kannauj of UP. SP leaders have reached Saifai with a consignment of sandalwood and flowers from the perfume city of Kannauj.
