Bundi (Rajasthan): Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has sent a cheque of Rs 11 lakh to Shobha Kanwar, a government school teacher in Bundi, Rajasthan. Big-B is very impressed with Shobha Kanwar's efforts for the education of daughters and has sent the cheque to help her.

Kanwar was on the hot seat opposite Amitabh: Kanwar was sitting on the hot seat opposite Amitabh in the show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) on 27 September. Shobha expressed her intention to spend the money won in the show on the education of needy daughters. Big B saluted her effort.
Shobha Kanwar, a teacher in a school in Barundhan village in Bundi district and a resident of Kunhadi, Kota, answered 11 questions correctly in KBC. During this, she had won Rs 6.40 lakh using 3 lifelines.
Shobha was trying to go to KBC since the time of landline phone: In the Navratri special episode, Shobha Kanwar was seen in a Rajputi dress with Amitabh Bachchan. Shobha Kanwar told that she was trying to go to KBC since the time of landline phone. Earlier she was rejected thrice, but this time she was successful in the fourth attempt.
I will form an NGO for daughters: Now on receiving a cheque of Rs 11 lakh from Amitabh Bachchan, Shobha Kanwar told that Amitabh Sir has given me a cheque of 11 lakhs. Now I will form an NGO to help the needy, poor and helpless daughters.
