Rajasthan Government will Give Chief Minister Excellence Award to Officers Doing Excellent Work

Jaipur: Rajasthan may become the first state in the country, where the Chief Minister Excellence Award will be given to the government officers and personnel for doing outstanding work. The award will start from the IAS cadre and will be extended to the personnel of the general posts in a phased manner.

CM Gehlot has given his approval: At present, there is no such system in Rajasthan under which an officer or employee is rewarded for his excellent work. The General Administration Department has prepared a proposal and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given administrative approval.

Doctors, teachers and engineers will also be awarded: Under this proposal, IAS officers will be selected first. After that Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers will be selected and then the number of doctors, teachers and engineers working in various departments will come. After that the departments will ask for the names of the employees working in different grades.

Proposal prepared by Prime Minister Awardee Officer: Although the proposal for this award has been prepared through the General Administration Department, but in reality this proposal has been made by an IAS officer who has himself been honoured with the Prime Minister Excellence Award. He is one of Gehlot's favourite officers and in the past too, he has implemented some brilliant plans on Gehlot's initiative.
