Jaipur: A residential society in Jaipur, Rajasthan witnessed the most unique Diwali this time. Here the robots lit sparklers and celebrated by bursting green crackers. People were taken aback when the robots called the guests coming to the society by their names. Not only this, the robots shook hands with them and also wished Happy Diwali. This sight was as if the Diwali was being celebrated on some other planet.
The activities of the robots surprised all the visitors. This sight was seen at Gulmohar Garden Society, Jaipur, where a special techno event 'Diwali with Robots' was organized on the occasion of Diwali with the aim of making people aware about robotic technology.
Robotics expert Bhuvnesh Mishra told that there was a special idea behind doing this event. When all of us are celebrating Diwali, then many people like fire brigade, police, sanitation workers are doing their duty away from their families.
In such a situation, these robots can become their support and a better option. Robots made in Jaipur can accomplish many tasks efficiently like extinguishing a fire in an emergency or repairing a choked sewer line.
