WhatsApp's Services Restored After Remaining Down For 1.5 Hours In Many Countries


WhatsApp's services were down for about one and a half hours in many countries of the world on Tuesday. According to the information, WhatsApp stopped working at 12.30 pm. After being closed for about one and a half hours, it started working again at 2:06 pm in the afternoon. The government has sought a report from WhatsApp's parent company Meta regarding this glitch.

In India, in many states including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, users had complained of disruption in the meta-owned messenger service. The website tracker Down Detector had informed about the suspension of the messenger service. The news of WhatsApp not working started trending on Twitter as well. WhatsApp has more than 2 billion active monthly users worldwide.

Meta said- Trying to fix the service as soon as possible. The news of the closure of WhatsApp came to the fore at around 12.30 pm. 

An hour after the service was shut down, a spokesperson for WhatsApp's parent company Meta said – We have received information that some people are having trouble sending messages. We are trying to fix WhatsApp service as soon as possible. However, the company did not specify the reason for the problem.
