Bharat Jodo Yatra Has Changed The Landscape Of National politics: Congress


Indore: The Congress has said that the ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra under the leadership of former party president Rahul Gandhi has not only increased the enthusiasm of the party organization and workers, but has also changed the political landscape of the country.
Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, national spokesperson Ragini Nayak, senior Madhya Pradesh Congress leader Jitu Patwari, former national president of Mahila Congress Shobha Ojha and other leaders said at a joint press conference here on Sunday that the Bharat Jodo Yatra has changed the course of Indian politics. The scenario has changed and the Congress party has been re-energized because of the tremendous support this Yatra has received.

Congress leaders said that the yatra had earlier received huge support in the five southern states and when the yatra reached Maharashtra, there was no let down in this support and people joined it with more enthusiasm than before. He said that when the Yatra reached Madhya Pradesh, it is getting tremendous support from the very first day itself.
Congress leaders said that the reaction of the Bharatiya Janata Party regarding the yatra is the outcome of their nervousness. They said that under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, the Bharat Jodo Yatra carrying the tricolor is expected to reach Srinagar by January 26.
On the question asked about Uniform Civil Code, they said that it is an election issue of BJP. There should have been a debate on this issue, but the debate is not being conducted, while the Law Commission has already declared it useless.
