Himachal Elections 2022: Rs 14 Lakhs Found At BJP Candidate's Shop

 

Shimla: Voting is going on in Himachal Pradesh today for the assembly elections. Meanwhile, a big news has come out from Baijnath in Kangra district. Lakhs of rupees in cash have been seized from the shop of BJP candidate and sitting MLA Mulkh Raj Premi in a joint action by the election officer and the police.
According to the information received, cash worth Rs 14 lakh was recovered from the shop of sitting MLA and BJP candidate Mulkh Raj Premi. This amount was caught late night in the joint action of the FST team and the police. 

The statement of SDM Baijnath has also come to the fore in the case of cash recovery. He said that investigation has revealed that this money has been withdrawn from BJP's account. Further investigation is on.

Congress candidate said - Money was being distributed among voters

Congress candidate from Baijnath seat Kishori Lal says that the money seized was kept for distribution among the people. He further said that no candidate can withdraw more than Rs 10,000 during elections. But seeing their defeat, the BJP candidates are furious. They were distributing money to sail their sinking boat.
