Sony Entertainment Television’s singing reality show, ‘Indian Idol – Season 13’ is all set to bring yet another musical weekend for its viewers.
Saluting all mothers on Saturday at 8:00 PM in the presence of the cast of film ‘Bhediya’ - Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon - this will be the 'Thank you Maa' special episode. And on Sunday, bringing alive the essence of love, will be the cast of the evergreen film ‘Aashiqui’ with veteran actors Rahul Roy, Deepak Tijori and Anu Aggarwal.
Joining the judges – Himesh Reshammiya and Vishal Dadlani – will be Manoj Muntashir for the ‘Thank You Maa’ special episode.
For ‘Celebrating Aashiqui,’ legendary singer Kumar Sanu will grace the panel. The ‘fashion queen’ Kavya Limaye from Vadodara will be seen giving a soulful performance on the song 'Dilbaro'.
Post Kavya's mind blowing performance, judge Himesh Reshammiya shares that before the show ends he will be releasing a song with Kavya and her mother, and Aditya Narayan is grateful as he feels Himesh Reshammiya always encourages the new talents from the show.
Adding to it Kavya's mother will be seen singing the last tune line of the song 'Dilbaro' for her daughter Kavya and it will be an emotional moment for everyone in the show.
Himesh Reshmmiyan shares, "I feel Kavya's mother has sung more beautifully than her and undoubtedly was brilliant. It felt like it’s the replica of Kavya tonal quality. I was surprised to hear her mother's voice. The freshness in the voice was amazing. Kavya your dedication in this song for your mother was so genuine which is not easy."
To watch this adorable moment, tune in this Sunday at 8:00 pm where the top 13 contestants Rishi Singh, Bidipta Chakraborty, Anushka Patra, Debosmita Roy, Sonakshi Kar, Senjuti Das, Sanchari Sengupta, Chirag Kotwal, Vineet Singh, Navdeep Wadali, Shivam Singh, and Rupam Bharnarhia will sway the viewers by their voice.
