Madhya Pradesh: Jolt to Congress In Midst Of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra

Bhopal: In the midst of Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra in Madhya Pradesh, the BJP made a dent in the Congress. Former CM and State Congress President Kamal Nath's 'special' Narendra Saluja joined BJP. On Friday morning, he joined BJP in the presence of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Saluja made serious allegations against Kamal Nath. However, the script for Saluja joining the BJP was written on November 8 itself. After the programme held in Indore, the team of BJP leaders became active. However, Congress leaders said that Saluja was expelled for six years on November 13 itself.
Saluja joined BJP after reaching CM House in Bhopal. Apart from CM Chouhan, Forest Minister Vijay Shah and Lokendra Parashar were also present. Sources reveal that 3 days back BJP state president VD Sharma had also held talks regarding Saluja. On the other hand, along with joining, Saluja also changed his Twitter photo.

Sauja said, 'When Kamal Nath ji came to Madhya Pradesh on May 1, 2018, he made me his media coordinator. I had been working with him for 5 years. Was also the vice president of media. Was working continuously with him. Since I have been associated with him, many people have said that his (Kamal Nath) name is in the 1984 riots. I used to think that some people say this because of political vendetta. Meanwhile, on November 8, I accompanied him to the Khalsa Stadium in Indore on the Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak ji. There he bowed down.
Meanwhile, the words spoken by the country's famous kirtankar Manpreet Singh Kanpuri, on whom Sikhs have faith, are echoing in my ears till date. Listening to which I could not sleep for two-three days. He had said that a leader is being honored here, who led the mob that burnt people in the 1984 riots. Kanpuri had refused to perform kirtan and had said not to set foot in Indore. It was his words that shook my soul and I decided to join BJP.’
Saluja was recently expelled from the party: Congress's state media cell chairman K K Mishra, however, said Saluja was recently expelled from the party.
He also said that Saluja was removed from his post earlier as well owing to his links with the BJP, but after he apologised to Nath, he was reinstated.
