Manish Sisodia Accuses BJP of Abducting AAP Candidate Kanchan Jariwala In Gujarat To Force Him To Withdraw Nomination

New Delhi: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia sat on a dharna outside the Election Commission here, alleging that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) abducted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate in Gujarat and forced him to withdraw his nomination. .

Sisodia today said that AAP candidate from Surat East, Gujarat, Kanchan Jariwala was forced at gunpoint by 500 police personnel to withdraw his nomination. This is a state of emergency.

He said in this regard, he has come to complain but the Election Commissioner does not have time. He said that he will wait for him sitting here at the gate of the Commission.

He tweeted and said, "The candidate was abducted. His nomination was withdrawn at gunpoint. What can be a bigger emergency than this for the Election Commission? That's why we have come at the door of the Central Election Commission with a request for immediate action."

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, “On the strength of goons and police, candidates are being abducted and their nominations are being returned. This type of public hooliganism has never been seen in India. Then what is the point of elections? Then democracy is finished."
