Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul Actress Tunisha Sharma Dies Of Suicide

Mumbai: Popular TV actress Tunisha Sharma committed suicide by hanging herself on the sets of a shooting in Mumbai on Saturday. Tunisha was playing the lead role of 'Maryam' on Sony SAB's show 'Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul'
Tunisha, 20, was about to shoot a music video. People on the set saw her hanging in her makeup room and took her down and rushed her to the hospital, but she died on the way.
The reasons for the suicide are not yet known but police sources claim that Tunisha was allegedly pregnant and her boyfriend refused to marry her.
Tunisha shared her photo and some notes on Instagram as well.

Had played role of Katrina's childhood in Fitoor

Tunisha has played the role of Katrina Kaif's childhood in film Fitoor. She was currently playing the role of Princess Maryam in Alibaba Dastan-e-Kabul. Apart from this, Tunisha has also worked as a child artist in films like Baar Baar Dekho, Kahaani-2, Dabangg-3.
Tunisha Sharma shared a post on social media a few hours before her death. She wrote in the post, 'Those who follow their passion never stop.'
Senior Inspector of Police Valiv Kailash Bharve said that the actress committed suicide by hanging herself in the make-up room.
The door was locked from inside, which was broken and Sharma was taken to the hospital where the doctors declared her dead.
Tunisha was reportedly looking tense for the past few days and claimed her life due to depression. 

The 20-year-old actress started her career with the popular telly show Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap. Following this, she went on to star in numerous daily soaps including Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Gabbar Poonchwala, Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Internet Wala Love, Ishq Subhan Allah. Currently appearing in Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul as the pivotal character Shehzaadi Maryam, Tunisha has earned quite a name for herself in the entertainment industry.
