Bharat Jodo Yatra: Kota Ready To Welcome Rahul Gandhi, City Decked Up


Kota: Kota city is ready to welcome former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi, who is on 2300 kilometer long Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Gandhi is likely to come to Kota city on 9 December morning after night halt at Jagpura on Kota-Jhalawar road on 8th December.
There is no street meeting like programme in Kota city, but after entering the city limits, the roads through which he is likely to pass are being decorated with colors and the places along the way are decorated.
Rahul has a luncheon programme at Umaid Club located in Nayapura area of the city.

Rahul will enter Bundi on 9 Dec

After that, on December 9, he will enter Bundi district from Gudli Phatak near Keshavraipatan via Northern Bypass. He has a program of night rest at Gudli Phatak.
It is said that Rahul Gandhi will pay tribute to his late father Rajiv Gandhi there by offering a cotton garland which will be brought from Jaipur.

Rahul likely to interact with students

Kota is known as the coaching city of the country and students from all over the country come here for coaching in connection with various entrance exams. Keeping this in view, arrangements can be made for Rahul Gandhi's meeting and direct conversation with the students doing coaching in Kota.
The programme is yet to be finalised. On this occasion, Rahul Gandhi can interact directly with the coaching students on educational issues and the education environment in the country.
Rahul Gandhi will then go through various places near Nayapura where a huge statue of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel discussing the Quit India Movement with Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi has been installed.
