Sawai Madhopur: Bharat Jodo Yatra being taken out under the leadership of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi started from Bhadoti in Sawai Madhopur district Wednesday on the tenth day in Rajasthan.
On Wednesday also, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, many ministers and MLAs and party officials are going along with Rahul Gandhi in the yatra.
People from different classes and regions are joining the Bharat Jodo Yatra and today Dr. N. Raghuram Rajan, former Governor of the Reserve Bank, joined the Yatra. During this Dr. Rajan walked with Mr. Rahul Gandhi and discussed economic issues etc.
Yatra will reach Dausa in evening
Crowds of people gathered in the yatra and a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the people for it. The yatra reached Bamanwas at 10 o'clock and there will be an afternoon rest. After this, the yatra will start again at 3.30 pm, which will enter Dausa district at 6.30 pm and reach Bagdi village chowk in Lalsot where Rahul Gandhi will hold a street corner meeting. After this, the yatra will have night rest at Bilona Kalan near Lalsot.
Yatra will be in Dausa till Dec 19
Today is the 10th day of Rahul Gandhi's visit to Rajasthan. Till December 19, the yatra will remain in Dausa district only. In Dausa district itself, on December 16, 100 days of Rahul Gandhi's visit are going to be completed. More than half of the journey has been covered in Rajasthan.
Rahul Gandhi's journey is now passing through areas of Sachin Pilot's influence. The number of pilot supporters in the yatra has also started increasing.
Yatra will have week-long break
Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra will have a week-long break after crossing the Rajasthan-Haryana border. There will be a break in travel from 24th December to 2nd January. Rahul Gandhi can go to the Lok Sabha during the break days of travel.
Rahul will go to Jaipur
Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said that on December 16, on completion of 100 days of the yatra, Rahul Gandhi will go to Jaipur. All the passengers will participate in Sunidhi Chauhan's music event there.
