Himachal: CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Says Govt Committed To Bring Cement Prices Down Even As 2 Cement Plants Of Adani Group Shut


Shimla: Two cement plants of Adani Group have been closed after the formation of the Congress party government in Himachal Pradesh. Along with this, the rates of cement have increased in Himachal Pradesh.

Himachal Pradesh's new Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said this matter is related to law and order. There is a dispute between the factory union and the Adani Group. The government wants a settlement, but neither the union nor the factory should suffer loss

Sukhu said the government is committed that the price of cement comes down. he said cement in HP should not be sold at a higher price than other states.

Debt of 70 thousand crores on state

Sukhu also said his government is also committed to restore the old pension scheme.

He said, "The previous BJP government has left a debt of 70 thousand crores on the state. It is a big challenge, but there are solutions as well. We had said on the first day and I am saying again that the decision on the old pension scheme of the employees will be taken in the first cabinet meeting. It is also our responsibility to complete other schemes."
