Home Ministry's Meeting Regarding Crowd At Delhi Airport

New Delhi:
The Ministry of Home Affairs will hold a big meeting regarding the increasing crowd at Delhi's Indira Gandhi Airport. This meeting will be held at 11 am today.

In view of the increasing crowd, the security will have to be increased there and more CISF companies will be deployed. Along with this, discussions will also be held on boosting the infrastructure at the airport and increasing immigration.

Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiditya Scindia had a surprise visit on December 12 at the Delhi airport. He visited Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi Airport.

Air passengers over the past few days have had been complaining about long waiting hours at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport; some shared pictures of the chaos they were experiencing outside the airport and at the security.

T3, which is used for both international and domestic flights, was worst-affected as it experienced a huge influx of travellers in the peak travel season.
