Rajsthan Congress Crisis: Sachin Pilot Is Getting Weak - Gehlot Faction Having Upper Hand

Jaipur: In the tussle between Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot in Rajasthan, now the Gehlot faction seems to be getting stronger. In fact, the high command has given a clean chit to the rebel MLAs of the Gehlot camp who rebelled in September.

Clean chit to the MLAs of Gehlot faction

The high command has given a clean chit to Gehlot faction MLAs Shantlal Dhariwal, Mahesh Joshi and their close aide Dharmendra Rathore. This decision was taken in the meeting of the Congress Disciplinary Committee. While the Bharat Jodo Yatra is passing through Rajasthan, the message of all is well between Sachin Pilot and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has already been given to the media.
With this message going to the media, a full bench meeting of the Disciplinary Committee of the Congress took place. This meeting was chaired by former Defence Minister AK Antony. According to sources, the apology letter of the three rebel MLAs also came in the meeting.

All the three leaders apologized unconditionally to the High Command. It is being told that after the apology, the high command has not taken any action against them. After this whole incident, the three MLAs are also seen in Rahul Gandhi's Yatra.

MLAs had shown rebellious attitude in September

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's name was trending very fast during the elections for the national president of the Congress party in September. During this, Ashok Gehlot met Sonia Gandhi. Supervisors from Delhi reached Jaipur to brainstorm on who should be given the command of Rajasthan in the event of Gehlot going to Delhi. When Ajay Maken went to Jaipur as an observer, all the three MLAs showed rebellious attitude. Actually all these MLAs did not agree with the name of Sachin Pilot. That's why Shantilal Dhariwal, Mahesh Joshi and Dharmendra Rathod showed rebellious attitude.

Sachin Pilot demanded action

In this whole matter, Sachin Pilot had demanded action against the three MLAs. No action was taken on all three. On the other hand, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot called Sachin Pilot a traitor. After this, the party reconciled both the leaders by calling them assets of the Congress.

Gehlot group is having upper hand

Now in the case of Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot, the Gehlot group seems to be having upper hand.

1. No action was taken against the three MLAs Shantilal Dhariwal, Mahesh Joshi, and Dharmendra Rathore who showed rebellious brother-in-law.
2. All these MLAs are seen in the lead role in Rahul Gandhi's Yatra.
3. Before the 3rd Yatra, there was a poster war. The posters of Sachin Pilot were removed by the MLAs of the Gehlot camp.
4. Sachin Pilot has not got any major responsibility even after two years.
Overall, in the developments so far, the Gehlot group is seen to be overshadowing the Pilot group.
