MP News: "Pathan" May Be Banned In Madhya Pradesh; Controversy Over Colour Of Deepika Padukone's Dress In Song Besharam Rang

Bhopal: The film "Pathan" may be banned in Madhya Pradesh. State Home Minister Narottam Mishra gave hints about this. Narottam Mishra has objected to the colour of Deepika Padukone's dress in the song "Besharam Rang Mein".

Why it can be banned

The film Pathan has been embroiled in controversies before its release. There is a controversy regarding the song "Besharam Rang" from the film. In the film, Deepika Padukone is seen in a bold look in the song "Besharam Rang". Deepika is wearing a saffron coloured dress in this song. The Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh has raised objection regarding the same.

Home Minister has asked to remove controversial scene

Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra objected to the color of Deepika Padukone's dress in the film. While talking to the media, he said that the clothes worn by Deepika are very objectionable and she has shot the song with a dirty mindset. Narottam Mishra said that Deepika Padukone is a member of Tukde Tukde Gang.
Narottam Mishra has appealed to the filmmaker to remove such scenes. He said that if these scenes are not removed then the government will have to consider about screening it in Madhya Pradesh.

Hinduist organizations expressed strong opposition

Hinduist organizations have protested against the song Besharam Rang from the film Pathan. "Boycott Pathan" has already started on social media. Hindutva organizations have appealed people on social media to boycott the film.

Congress is targeting BJP

Regarding the film Pathan, Madhya Pradesh Leader of Opposition Govind Singh said that this scene is very ugly and dirty and it cannot be accepted in our culture. Govind Singh has now targeted the BJP regarding the film Pathan. The Congress says that there is a BJP government at the Centre and how does the Censor Board passes such films. Govind Singh questioned the decision of the Censor Board.

MP government has been strict in past also

Even before this, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has been strict about bold scenes in films. He has made filmmakers remove controversial scenes and controversial lyrics from many films. Narottam Mishra had also expressed his objection regarding the film Ravana.
