Sonia Gandhi Birthday: Former Congress president and UPA chief Sonia Gandhi turned 76 on 9 December. Sonia Gandhi is celebrating her birthday with son Rahul and daughter Priyanka in Ranthambore, Rajasthan. Other leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari have wished her on her birthday. PM Modi tweeted wishing her long life and good health.
To celebrate Sonia Gandhi's birthday, the Gandhi family is staying at Hotel Sher Bagh on Ranthambore Road. The Gandhi family has always stayed in this hotel. Due to the presence of the Gandhi family, the police also cordoned off the unpaved road leading from Ramsinghpura village to the hotel.

Sonia spots tigers: Sonia Gandhi was lucky to spot a male and a female tiger at two places. Sonia stayed in Ranthambore forest for about 2 hours and saw the antics of wildlife. Sonia Gandhi first reached Jogi Mahal and stayed there for some time.
