Cricketer Rishabh Pant Airlifted From Dehradun To Mumbai

 

Mumbai: Cricketer Rishabh Pant, who was injured in a road accident, was airlifted from Dehradun to Mumbai today. He will undergo further treatment at Kokilaben Hospital here. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has issued a statement saying that Pant's treatment will be under the supervision of Dr Dinshaw Pardiwala, Head - the Centre for Sports Medicine, and Director - Arthroscopy & Shoulder Service at the hospital. 

"Rishabh will undergo surgery and subsequent procedures for ligament tears and will continue to be monitored by the BCCI Medical Team throughout his recovery and rehabilitation," the BCCI said in an official statement. "The Board will make every effort to aid and expedite the recovery process of Rishabh and will provide him with all the support he needs during this period."
Rishabh, who was receiving treatment for his injuries at Max Hospital, Dehradun following a car accident on  Dr Pardiwala has earlier treated cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja.

Pant suffered head, knee and ankle injuries in the accident. It was revealed that his knee ligaments were torn. In such a situation, now the medical team of BCCI has got him airlifted from Dehradun to Mumbai for better treatment.
