Rajasthan Congress crisis: High Command Will Soon Make Big Reshuffle

Jaipur: Assembly elections are to be held in Rajasthan at the end of the year. As soon as the Bharat Jodo Yatra left Rajasthan, the leaders of Rajasthan Congress have started gearing up for election. Rajasthan Congress in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa visited Rajasthan.

Changes will happen in Rajasthan Congress after Randhawa's visit

After Randhawa's visit, it is estimated that there will be changes in the Rajasthan Congress. Randhawa continued his rounds of meetings for five days in Rajasthan.

Randhawa met CP Joshi, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot. After these separate meetings, there is speculation that appointments will be made in the organization in Rajasthan Congress soon.

Emphasis on the strength of the organization before the elections

Elections are to be held in Rajasthan after ten months. In such a situation, the posts of many district presidents and block presidents are lying vacant. To strengthen the organization, appointments will be made soon on the vacant posts.

If the posts of the organization at the district level remain vacant, then the party will not be able to make election preparations.

Randhawa spoke to the media during his visit. Randhawa said that his focus is to strengthen the organization of the party.

Randhawa said that along with the block and district presidents, appointments will also be made soon on the vacant posts in the state executive of the Congress.

Executive dissolved with the removal of Sachin Pilot

In fact, Sachin Pilot was the PCC chief in Rajasthan. After the political developments during July 2020, the command of the PCC Chief was taken away from Sachin Pilot and he was also removed from the post of Deputy Chief Minister.

Since then, the executive committee of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress was also dissolved. Gave command of the party to Govind Dotasra but the executive has not yet been completed.

MLAs' resignations will be withdrawn

The resignations of the MLAs who had resigned during the political crisis in Rajasthan in September will be returned. Randhawa also met Rajasthan PCC Chief Govind Dotasra. The effect of Randhawa's visit is also being seen immediately. All the MLAs who had resigned in September are reaching out to withdraw their resignations.

Political uproar in September

In Rajasthan, the political turmoil was at its peak in September. In fact, the name of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was running for the National President. High Command and Sonia Gandhi had called him to Delhi for a meeting. During this, the central observers had reached Rajasthan regarding who should get the command of Rajasthan CM in case Gehlot becomes party's national president.

Gehlot's pro-MLAs did not turn up for the meeting with Ajay Maken, who reached Jaipur as an observer, but submitted their resignations. After that, there was a lot of political uproar in Rajasthan and the round of allegations and counter-allegations reached to such an extent that Gehlot called Sachin Pilot a "traitor".

Reconciliation before Bharat Jodo Yatra

Reconciliation was done between the two leaders during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Together the two leaders took over the reins of the Bharat Jodo Yatra and shared stage with Rahul Gandhi. Although the supporters of both were seen doing poster war even during the yatra.

Gehlot government's last budget

The last budget of the Ashok Gehlot government is about to be presented in Rajasthan. After this, the party will completely come into the election mode. This is the reason why emphasis is being laid on building the party's organization before that.
