Delhi Sultanpuri Kanjhawala Car Drag Case: New Startling Revelations Come To Fore, Police Say There Were 2 More Accused


New Delhi: On Thursday, the Delhi Police made two major revelations in the Sultanpuri Kanjhawala car drag case. First- The accused are not 5, but 7. Two new accused Ashutosh and Ankush Khanna are being searched. 

Second- The accused do not have an old connection with the deceased girl Anjali and eyewitness Nidhi and there is no link between the accused and the deceased girl.

New identified accused Amit was driving car, not Deepak 

Special CP Sagar Preet Hooda told that one of the new accused is Amit, a brother of one of the accused. He was driving the car. He doesn't have a driving license. Deepak's name came to the fore only to save him.

The accused knew that the girl was trapped under the car. Even after this, they kept driving.

The accident took place on the night of December 31 between soon after 2 AM. Anjali's mobile has not been found yet.

All 5 accused can be subjected to lie detector test

A high level meeting of police officers was also held late on Wednesday night. The police can get the lie detector test done for all the five accused. For this permission will be sought from the court.

Nidhi could also be involved in murder, said deceased’s mother

The mother of the deceased Anjali said late on Wednesday night, 'Nidhi may also be involved in the murder of daughter Anjali. She said that I do not know Nidhi. I have never seen her. Anjali never drank. She never came home in an inebriated state.

Family doctor Bhupesh has also rejected the claim that Anjali was drunk. He said that the autopsy report found that there was no alcohol in the stomach of the deceased.

3 more videos of 31 December night surfaced in the last 24 hours. The remaining 4 videos came on 2nd and 3rd January. It is being said that the police have received 23 videos of the incident route. Based on these, they are interrogating the accused.
