Delhi Sultanpuri Scooty Girl Dragging Case: Girl Was Not Alone At Time Of Accident; Another Girl Was On Scooty

New Delhi: A new twist has come in the case of dragging of a girl for 13 kilometers in a car on New Year's eve in Sultanpuri area of outer Delhi. Sensational revelations have come to light in Delhi Police's investigation. 

In the case of Kanjhawala girl's death, Delhi Police say that when we traced the route of the deceased girl, it came to light that she was not alone on her scooty. Another girl was with him at the time of the accident. She had suffered minor injuries in the accident. She had gone home after the incident.

CCTV footage of that night shows the presence of another girl along with the girl who died after being dragged for a few kilometers by a car that hit her in Sultanpuri area. 

Girls were quarreling in hotel?

CCTV footage revealed that not one but two girls were riding the scooty. Both were returning from a birthday party at a hotel when the Baleno car hit them. 

Amit, the manager of the hotel where the party was held, claims that the two left after a fight. According to Amit, both the girls had come around 7.30 pm. They left the hotel around 1.15 am. Amit told the media that some friends had come to meet both the girls. There was a fight in the room after which the staff threw them out. 

Even after coming down, both the girls kept fighting. When the neighbors stopped downstairs, they left on her scooty. According to the manager, the girls abused each other. Hotel staff Rohit told that they had had a drink. Both went away after fighting on the same scooty.

Police will record statement of girl

Police have traced the girl and will also record her statement. The statement of the girl will also be recorded before the magistrate.

The leg of the deceased got stuck in the car, after which the accused dragged her for 13 kms. The leg of the deceased was stuck in the axle of the car. 

Accused threw the girl under the open sky

When the five accused in the Sultanpuri incident stopped the car near Jonti village on Kanjhawala road, they saw the girl trapped in the car. The accused took the girl out from under the car and threw her there under the open sky in the cold. There was not a single cloth on the girl's body.

The court on Monday sent the five accused Manoj Mittal, Deepak Khanna, Amit Khanna, Krishna and Mithun on police remand for three days. According to Delhi Police, Deepak Khanna was driving the car during the accident. Among them, Manoj Mittal is said to be the leader of the BJP.
