Ganga Vilas Cruise Got Stuck In Chhapra? What Raj Singh Who Is Overseeing Its Operation Said About This?

Patna: Ganga Vilas Cruise, which started from Kashi on January 13, is now in Patna. It had reached Chhapra a day earlier i.e. on Monday.

Meanwhile, there were reports that the cruise got stuck due to shallow water. However, Raj Singh, chairman of the Exotic Heritage Group, who is looking after the operation of this cruise, denied these reports. Talking to a private news channel, he told that the claim of Ganga Vilas Cruise getting stuck is absolutely false.

Cruise always operates in main channel

Raj Singh said that the cruise has reached Patna on time. Several reports claimed that the cruise got stuck due to shallow water in the river at Chhapra. It's not like that. The cruise always operates in the main channel. Big ships cannot go ashore. This is the reason why tourists are brought to the shores in small boats. This is a routine process.

According to Raj Singh, on reaching Chhapra, tourists were taken for sightseeing in small boats. This is a common procedure, especially for cruises. The tourists were taken to Chirand, an archaeological site in in the Saran district of Bihar on the northern bank of the Ganga River.

'Safety and security are also important issues'

Then the tourists returned to the cruise via small boats. A large number of people gather to see the cruise when it goes to the shore. In such a situation, safety and security are also important issues. So we cannot bring the ship to the shore for the safety and security of the passengers. There is nothing wrong in this and we were just taking precautions.
