Ahmedabad: The news of a major accident is coming from Shahibagh area of Ahmedabad in Gujarat where a massive fire broke out on the 7th floor of a building. A teenage girl has died in this accident and many people are trapped.
The incident took place in Green Orchid building in Shahibagh's Girdharnagar.
A 15-year-old girl who was injured in the fire incident succumbed to her injuries during treatment at the hospital, while five other members have been rescued safely by the fire department.
As soon as the information about the accident was received, 11 fire tenders reached the spot to extinguish the fire.
Some people are trapped in the upper floors. Meanwhile, some videos of the fierce fire in the floor have gone viral. Someone is seen trapped in the flames on the 7th floor gallery.
The fire was brought under control with the help of 11 fire vehicles. The reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.
