Madhya Pradesh: Episodes of Gita, Mahabharata And Ramcharit Manas Will Be Included In School Curriculum

 

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that books like Ramcharit Manas show us the path and guides us. The episodes of Gita and Mahabharata along with Ramcharit Manas will be included in the school curriculum. This context will be helpful in moral and spiritual education.
The CM said the best manifestation of knowledge is in one’s mother tongue. The state government will make every effort to encourage education in the mother tongue by ending the supremacy of English. In this direction, initiative has been taken to conduct medical and engineering studies in Hindi. 

Chouhan was addressing the Sughosh Darshan program of Vidya Bharti Madhya Bharat Prant, Saraswati Vidya Pratishthan Madhya Pradesh on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Chouhan offered floral tributes at the statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and garlanded the picture of Maa Saraswati and a figure of Om at the venue.
All India Organization Secretary Shri Govind Chandra Mahant, retired Major General T.P.S. Rawat also expressed their views. More than 1500 students, professors and teachers from 75 schools of 16 districts participated in the programme. Students of 75 Ghosh units of Madhya Bharat formed Om, Swastik symbol, Sughosh 2023 and number 75 while playing instruments including flute, conch shells, side drum, bamboo drum and other instruments on the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence.
CM Chouhan said that India is a very ancient and great nation. Programs like Sughosh Darshan are helpful in increasing the organization capacity by increasing the tendency to work collectively along with increasing the physical ability of the students.
