Bhopal: Orchha, the city of Ramraja Sarkar in Madhya Pradesh, will be connected to Ramjanmabhoomi Ayodhya. Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari announced this. On Monday, Gadkari inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 18 road projects of 550 kilometers at a cost of Rs 6800 crore in Orchha.
Nitin Gadkari said that just as Ayodhya is being connected to Janakpur, similarly the holy city of Orchha will also be connected to Ayodhya. An action plan is being made for it.
Shri Ram’s Pad Path will be similar to 84 Kosi Parikrama Pad Path
Gadkari said that just as 84 Kosi Parikrama Pad Path is being constructed in Ayodhya, on the same lines, Shri Ram’s Pad Path should be constructed connecting Orchha with surrounding areas.
Datia-Jhansi-Orchha circuit
He said that Pitambara Peeth should prepare a roadmap for the construction of Datia-Jhansi-Orchha circuit. He said that a proposal should be made to develop Orchha’s bus stand with modern beautification and tourism point of view.
Gadkari said that while making all the roads around Orchha, the history of Lord Shri Ram will also be shown through photographs.
Food malls will be made for visitors
In view of the movement of lakhs of people in Orchha and Pitambara Peeth, food malls will be made for the visitors by acquiring land and beautiful grass footpaths will be made around the roads of all the pilgrimage places here. He said that I am very happy that I got a chance to visit the land of Bundelkhand and Orchha, the city of Rajaram. To connect Orchha and Chitrakoot with other cities, road works worth Rs 70,000 crore are underway.
Gadkari said that the road infrastructure of Madhya Pradesh and Bundelkhand will be at par with that of America by the year 2024. Gadkari approved the proposal of the state government for the construction of roads and culverts costing about Rs one thousand crore. He said that after the construction of the four-lane road, the journey from Bhopal to Kanpur would be completed in just 7-8 hours.
Ramraja Lok will be built in Orchha and Vanvasi Ramlok in Chitrakoot: CM
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that on the lines of Shri Mahakal Mahalok in Ujjain, Ramraja Lok will be constructed in Orchha and Vanvasi Ramlok in Chitrakoot. Also, the state government will also work on Ram Van Gaman Path. Orchha will be connected to Ayodhya. With the cooperation being given to Madhya Pradesh by the Union Minister Shri Gadkari, we will develop all the bus stand of the state from the point of view of tourism. On the advice of the Union Minister Shri Gadkari, the Chief Minister announced to provide land at the earliest for the construction of a modern bus stand in Orchha.
Rope-way will be constructed to visit Mahakal Baba in Ujjain
CM said not only this, Shri Gadkari ji is facilitating the journey of the devotees by getting a rope-way constructed from the railway station to visit Mahakal Baba in Ujjain. He said that on the call of Union Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar, Gadkari will now get a ropeway constructed for Taramai's darshan as well.
