Republic Day-2023 In Madhya Pradesh: Narmada Corridor Will Be Developed In Three Phases, State Will Have Best Roads, Says CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan


Jabalpur: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said that Narmada Parikrama Path and Narmada Corridor will be developed in three phases, while promising that Madhya Pradesh will become the state with the best roads.

On the auspicious occasion of Republic Day here, Chouhan hoisted the flag and took salute of the parade and extended greetings and best wishes to the people of the state.

During this, he said that India is moving on the path of progress under the historical leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the crisis of Covid-19, PM Modi not only saved the lives of Indians, but India itself prepared the vaccine and also sent it to many countries.

In the context of Madhya Pradesh, he said that Madhya Pradesh is making historical progress in all fields. Our growth rate is increasing continuously, the farmers of the state have done miracles in agriculture. 

State generating electricity from solar energy

In this sequence, he said that he promises that Madhya Pradesh will become a state with the best roads. Madhya Pradesh is becoming a surplus state in the power sector. Now not only from coal and water, we are continuously moving towards generating electricity from solar energy as well.

Chouhan said that a floating solar plant will be set up at Omkareshwar. It is our resolve that solar panels should be installed in every house and gradually the electricity needed for the house should be generated at home itself.

In his address in Jabalpur on the banks of Narmada, Chouhan said that Narmada Parikrama Path and Narmada Corridor will be developed in three phases, which will be amazing.

Industrial area will also be set up in Jabalpur

The Chief Minister said that an industrial area will also be set up in Jabalpur. Garments and textile units will be set up here, residential plots will also be there, there will also be space for hotels, hospitals and malls.

He said that to provide quality education in villages also, CM Rise schools are being built within a radius of 20 to 25 km. Better infrastructure, smart class, lab, library and play ground will be here. Children will come to school by bus.

Chouhan said that industrialists from all over the world, including India, have announced investment of more than Rs 15.42 lakh crore in the Global Investors Conference held in Indore. 

These industries will also come up in Mahakaushal area including entire Madhya Pradesh. The growth rate of Madhya Pradesh is 19.76 percent.

Series of medical colleges started for expansion of health facilities

He said that the government has started a series of medical colleges for the expansion of health facilities, seven medical colleges have been opened, work is going on for the rest.

The CM said we made Chief Minister Bal Ashirwad Yojana, now this scheme is being expanded. Now for any reason if a child has no parents, then it will be the responsibility of the government to make arrangements for the housing and education of those children. It is our resolve that the income of the women living in the village should also be Rs 10,000 per month.

Our resolution is smart villages

Chouhan said that our resolution is smart villages. We have resolved to fulfill the basic needs of the village. 

The Chief Minister said that we all should work together to take our Madhya Pradesh forward by giving our best. We have decided to make Madhya Pradesh self-reliant, everyone's cooperation is needed in this.
